JSMC is honored to have Panditvarya Shri Parasbhai Shah who was with us during 2023 Chaitri Maas Ayambil Oli and he is not new to us. He has studied Jain Philosophy at Yashovijayji Jain Sanskrit Pathshala in Mahesana, Gujarat and in 2001 obtained Sidhdhipatrak. He has imparted knowledge to more than 300 Sadhu and Sadhvi Maharaj, anchored more than 33 Diksha Programs and guided many Diksharthis. He has also handled many poojans and aaradhanas including Pratistha Mahotsav, Anjan Shalaka, 18 Abhishek, Gautam Labdhi, Ashtaprakari, 108 Parshva Padmavati, Navgraha, Laghu Shanti Snatra, 12 Vrata, etc.

Shri Ashishbhai Mehta is no stranger to our Sangh. He has the gifted spirited voice in which the devotee dissolves themselves through the medium of music. He has many captivating, toe-tapping tracks that are sure to elevate one and all. His rendition of Manglik has been played many times at Jain Sanghs across the world including our own. Besides having trained in classical music he also has deep knowledge of Jainism and has taken us through many Vandanavali journeys in the past. We are thrilled to have him during the Paryushan Mahaparva.

Dharmachakra Poojan

We are pleased to have First time ever for our Sangh DharmaChakra Poojan conducted by Shri Parasbhai Shah along with Sangeetkar Shri Ashish Mehta with his melodious music group. 

The 34 extraordinary attributes of the Tirthankar, which include penance, knowledge, and sacred chants, are represented in the Dharma Chakra with 14 attributes, placed upon two deer and a lotus in the Tirthankar’s divine assembly (Samavasaran). Inspired by the Tirthankar’s sermon in the Samavasaran, the spiritually inclined engage in beautiful practices of devotion. This is a wonderful opportunity to worship the great mystical knowledge (Mahavidya), one of the 34 extraordinary attributes of the supreme Tirthankara, and to earn great merit in our lives. પ્રભુના ૩૪ અતિશયઓ, જેમાં તપ, વિદ્યા,અને મંત્ર સમાયેલા છે એવા ૧૪ અતિશયોયુક્ત ધર્મચક્ર પ્રભુના સમવસરણમાં બે હરણના મુખ અને કમળ ઉપર બિરાજિત હોય છે. સમવસરણમાં પ્રભુની વાણીના ઉપદેશથી પ્રેરિત થઈ ભવ્યજનો સુંદર સાધના કરે છે. ૩૪ અતિશયોમાં સમાયેલ મહાવિદ્યાનું પૂજન કરી આપણા મિથ્યાત્વને દૂર કરવાનો આ સુંદર અવસર છે. આ મહા પ્રભાવિક ધર્મચક્ર પૂજન આગમમાંથી ઉદ્ધૃત કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.. પૂજાના કપડાં આવશ્યક છે.
