શ્રી મહાવીર સ્વામી મહાવિદ્યા અનુષ્ઠાન
આ ખૂબ પ્રભાવશાળી અનુષ્ઠાન છે. વિશિષ્ટ સંજોગોમાં પૂજ્ય ગુરૂ ભગવંતની આજ્ઞા લઈને આ અનુષ્ઠાન કરવામાં આવે છે. ઘણા સમય સુધી જિનાલય બંધ રહ્યુ હોય, પ્રભુજીની પૂજા બંધ રહી હોય અને એ દરમિયાન પ્રભુની આશાતના થઈ હોય તેના નિવારણ માટે આ અનુષ્ઠાન કરાય છે. તથા પરમાત્માનો પ્રભાવ વધે અને દિનપ્રતિદિન વધુને વધુ ભક્તો આવી અને પરમાત્માની ભક્તિ દ્વારા મુક્તિ માર્ગે આગળ વધે એ માટે વિશિષ્ટ સંજોગોમાં આ મહાવિદ્યા અનુષ્ઠાન કરવામાં આવે છે. આપણાં સંઘમાં આ ઉત્તમ અનુષ્ઠાન થઈ રહ્યું છે તો સંઘના સર્વે પુણ્યશાળી સરસ રીતે તેમાં જોડાઈ લાભ લેશોજી.
આ અનુષ્ઠાનમાં સૌથી પહેલા પ્રભુજીને નવ વાર વાસક્ષેપથી નવ અંગે પૂજા કરવામાં આવશે. ત્યારબાદ ચંદન વિલેપન, કપૂર વિલેપન, કસ્તૂરી વિલેપન, અગર વિલેપન, રક્ત ચંદન વિલેપન, અક્ષતથી નવ અંગે પૂજા, પંચામૃતનો અભિષેક, ઔષધીનો અભિષેક, શુદ્ધ તીર્થ જળનો અભિષેક, કેસર પૂજા, પુષ્પ પૂજા એ દરેક દ્રવ્યથી ૯ વાર પરમાત્માને પૂજા કરવામાં આવશે॰ આ અનુષ્ઠાન દ્વારા પ્રભુની ૧૦૮ વખત મંત્રોચ્ચાર સહિત વિશિષ્ટ પ્રભાવશાળી પૂજા થશે.
Shri Mahavir Swami Mahavidya Anushthan
This is a highly powerful and spiritually significant ritual observance (Anushthan). It is performed under special circumstances with the permission and guidance of revered Gurudev Bhagwant. This Anushthan is conducted when a Jain temple (Jinalay) has remained closed for a long period, when the worship of the Lord has been discontinued, and during that period any form of disrespect or negligence toward the Lord may have occurred. It is performed for the removal of such shortcomings and for spiritual purification. Additionally, this Mahavidya Anushthan is organized on special occasions so that the divine influence and glory of the Lord may increase, and day by day more devotees may come forward and progress on the path of liberation through devotion to the Supreme Soul (Paramatma). Since this auspicious Anushthan is being conducted in our Sangh (community), all fortunate members of the Sangh are warmly invited to participate wholeheartedly and attain its spiritual benefits.
In this Anushthan, first the Lord will be worshipped nine times on the nine sacred parts of the idol using Vasakshep (holy fragrant powder). Thereafter, the following offerings and rituals will each be performed nine times: Sandalwood paste application, Camphor application, Musk application, Agarwood application, Red sandalwood application, Worship with Akshat (sacred rice) on the nine parts, Panchamrut Abhishek (ceremonial bathing with five nectars), Medicinal Abhishek, Abhishek with pure pilgrimage water Saffron worship and Flower worship. Through this Anushthan, the Lord will receive 108 special and highly auspicious forms of worship.
